I know I would wake up very early on Saturday mornings when I was a kid because I didnt want to miss all the cartoons! My kids dont wake up early on the weekends but thats probably because Saturdays arent as wonderful as when I was a young one- cartoons were so wonderful when I was younger and all the good ones where on ONLY on Saturday mornings and they had fun commercials with products that were aimed at us BUT now television has cartoons and kids commercials and shows on all the time.

people need varying levels of sleep depending on their age. Babies practically sleep all the time because they need it. As they get older they need less and less, children about the 5-14 age range can do with little sleep, about 6 or 7 hours a night, actually. On weekends, the school schedule accostumes to waking up at about the "getting ready for school time".
Adults need about 8, and actually, teenagers need more, about 10 hours of sleep, and older people need less and less, 60+ year olds can do with just about 5 or 6 hours. It's all about the age.

Probably for the same reason I have a hard time getting out of bed on the days I have to work. But on the days I don't have to I'm up and about early. Go figure.

It keeps them on schedule. Of course in my family my wife and kids all like to wake up early. I'm the only one that is not a morning person. Thank God for COFFEE!

When I was still at school,I couldn't wake up on school days but on Sundays or holidays I used to wake up early too. I think it's because we have accostemed to wake up at such hour.. Conseuently, without any wake up call, we can actually awake..

We do it because we have something to look forward to that day. At the weekday, we have to go to school so we want to put it off and wake up late. Also, it is that we wake up early because no-one tells us to i.e reverse phsycology!

I even have the comparable concern with my foster young little ones, all week we combat approximately getting up on time for faculties and collages yet come the morning of Saturday there's a surprising might desire to be up and making as plenty noise as humanly available! I even have come to the tip that i will replace the names of the days of the week and sat+solar are actually Thurs +Fri, this has brought about untold confusion even yet it worked the 1st week. we are on the degree of threatening loss of life if i pay attention a sound earlier 8.30 on Sat: and 9am on Sunday!! Ear plugs paintings besides. reliable luck

It's a play day. Must get in as much play as possible and stick it to the man (thats the parents and school teachers)
Most dont realize we want them to play.
That is one reason
