It's for the love of life.
I love living. Some say that "Life sucks, then you die." Is this true? If so, then why live life in the first place? Why subject yourself to a life of pain? Do you receive pleasure from pain? If so, then because life brings pain, is life so bad?
Basically I live to experience life. Life brings both pain and pleasure in various ways, I accept everything. Like the majority, I don't enjoy pain, however it's still an experience. So accept it and move on.
Unfortunitely the only thing that is guaranteed is death, so why not experience as much life as possible while you can. Live for the good moments. By good, I mean the moments that make YOU happy. Whether it's an orgasim, a high, watching your kids grow up, loving those around you, praising and living for your god, etc.
So can I do whatever I want as long as it makes me happy? Well, with every action there is a greater or equal reaction. So do want you want that makes you happy, just realize that with everything you do, comes with the consequences of your desires.
Live to become happy,
-Glen
...random thought...some people live to make other people unhappy because that makes them happy.

I find my own self to be a reason good enough. Rich and sustaining experience of life. The bonds with family, friends etc happen to be incidental, and commitment for this life time, materially !

I have 3 beautiful children and a wonderful husband that need me and I have been very blessed to have in my life. I also believe God has a purpose for all people, no matter how big or small we may feel in this world and who am I to question why he gave me life?

Family, I want to live long enough to be a burden on them, spend their inheritance,at least to the age of 95 and then be shot by a jealous husband.

Belief in something unknown, like God, knowledge of how many times I could have died and didn't, my children. That's about it.

I am my reason to live.
Me, and my own spiritual growth, in order to proceed on the karma scale and reach as much selfconsciousness as i can.
