Wind up alarm by far! Radio may lull you back to sleep!

I would say that the radio is better, because then you're able to choose what kind of music (or talk show) you want to wake up to. You can get your day started on the right track listening to your favorite radio personality. An alarm clock, on the oterh hand...can't really customize it to the way you want (unless you buy a more expensive model that allows you do that-buyt why spend extra dollars when you could just use your radio? lol)

I prefer the wind up because I've had the power go out too many times and my electric clock not wake me up at the right time. Those battery back up clocks aren't always what they say they are! Even a battery operated clock, one that doesn't use electricity is good and is not as jangly as a wind up.

Clock Radio. The wind up clocks are only good if you have a hard time getting up. If you don't then the clock radios better.

Wind up alarm. No need to worry about waking up late because of a power outage.

It doesn't matter.

Your internal clock will adjust itself to the time you need to rise. You will eventually wake up a few minutes before the alarm goes off.....so technically you won't even need it...it's just a backup plan in case you drank too much or stayed up too late the night before.

Electric clocks are not dependable if you live in an area which has frequent interruptions of electricity.
I have a couple of warm-blooded alarm clocks. When they feel that I have slept long enough, they jump on me and meow, lick my face, and swat my nose with their paws.
This is a pleasant way for me to awaken.
