I accidentally put the start menu at the top of the screen and I dont know how to get it back down at the bottom.

Just grab the blank part of the TASK BAR, and pull it back down.

Actually, it works anywhere you want it. "supposed to be" is for unflexible people. But I don't have any idea WHY Bill Gates wanted that to be able to MOVE. He's silly that way.

Right click on your start menu and make sure Lock the Taskbar is not clicked. Then drag an empty space to the bottom of your screen . It should work

click on the solid bar part and HOLD the button down, drag the task bar to the bottom of the screen as you prefer

Put your mouse pointer on the task bar. Hold down the left button and drag the bar where ever you want it.

Right click on task bar and make sure its not locked, then click on it and drag it to any side you want
