We need a bullpen. Honestly. McCarthy is a starter, we can't count on him in releif situations. The biggest thing missing this year was Hermenson. last year Hermenson, dominated, and the he slipped into a set up role. We had no legitamite set up guys. Cotts is a middle releiver by trade and so on for Thorton, Riske, and all the others. Our best bet at a set up guy now is McDougal.
Another need we have is LF and CF. Pods is as good as gone, so is Uribe, but we can get a SS pretty easily. I would love for us to go after a great center fielder like a Carl Crawford. There were rumors that the rays were listening to offers for him, that would be huge. In a perfect world, I would want Rowand back. I love that guy.

They need middle-to-long relief, because McCarthy isn't going to cut it. They have a ton of set-up men now (Thornton, McDougal, Riske, Cotts, etc.) but they need someone who can pitch 3-4 innings and Brandon ain't it.
As for starters, if they're going to get rid of 1 or more of the 5 they have, the one I'd love to see them get would be Jason Schmidt.
Offensively, please go get Alfonso Soriano. Move Pods to center, let Soriano play left, and then put Soriano in at 3 or 6. If they do decide to get rid of Uribe, move Cintron into the starting lineup.
