I have seen both vinegar and baking soda mentioned here. Try this: soak the soured clothes in clear water & baking soda. Add 1 cup of vinegar to the rinse water. If they still smell sour after this, rewash in detergent with baking soda. Again, add 1 cup of vinegar to the rinse. Then get them into the dryer or out on a clothesline as quickly as possible. Souring is usually a result of allowing damp clothes to sit too long before drying.

Wash them alone with any detergent, preferably one with baking soda included, and use a nicely scented liquid fabric softener. The pants will smell better than your other clothes. Good luck.
They can be thrown in with other jeans or something if you don't want to wash just the one pair at a time. It'll still work.

hello,
Do you have a Sam's Club near by? There is a product i use called Odor Ban. I put a cup into the wash. Smells great and makes clothes soft too. It can also be used to freshen the room. Spray bottle: !/4 inch in bottom rest water. Spray anywhere. Doesn't stain and gets cigarette smell out.
Bless of luck
God bless

Wash them by themselves in hot water, and add two cups of Pine-Sol to the load. This smell is probably a musty smell from leaving them in the washer and not drying them right away. Taht should do the trick. Good Luck!

Try putting vinegar in with your wash. I would say around a cupful. Should do the trick. The acid will neutralize the odor. It works.

while i purchase 2d hand little one outfits, I fill my washer with water and detergent and upload a very small quantity of bleach. in line with probability a million/sixteen cup or much less for a great load. it is going to do away with the scent and sanitize the clothing devoid of taking the colour. As for the stained outfits, boost the quantity of bleach to a million/4 cup for a great load and additionally you will get rid if the stains.
