I'm so sorry about your break up. Yes, it is normal to still think or dream of him. After all, he was part of your life for a long time, and since you are obviously a girl with a loving heart, you won't just switch gears and forget him over night. He's been gone almost 1/24th of the time you were together, so it'll be just a bit till he's out of your system. Give it time. Be good to yourself.

Yes, because I'm going through the same thing that you are. My ex and I broke up about a month ago and eventhough the pain is still there, I still dream about her. I went out with her for a little over 2 years, and she's always on my mind. I would say to live life one day at a time. I could take my own advice! You can e-mail me at www.pacific_2005@yahoo.com

Absolutely normal. You were together a long time. Therapists say that it can take up to half the time that you were in a relationship (so for you, a year) to get over that person completely. I'mnot sure it takes that long, and it depends on the person, why you broke up, etc. But... feelings don't just go away in a short time, it'll take awhile. Just keep busy, do things for you, and go out and mingle with friends.

Yes dear it's normal you cared about him right, then it's normal. I broke up with my man of 4 years a long long time ago and I thought about him for a long time afterwards, even after I started dating new people, after a while you'll realize he's probably an @ss anyways and you're better off without him, I did once I started dating real men.

Of course it is...He was a huge part of your life, and he will always be with you no matter what you do. Its completly normal for you to think about him. I wouldn't worry about it at all just keep yourself busy by reading a book or going out with friends. That is the only way to not think about him obsessively, but only on occations.

Absolutely! Hang in there. You will eventually think/dream of him less and less. He was an important part of your life for a long time and this will take time to heal. Good Luck!

It's very normal. You will need to give yourself more time to really move on. Time is the only thing that heals a broken heart.

Yes it is very hard to get over someone you spent so long with. You should try and date or go out anything to get your mind off him unless you want him back I don;t think you are over him yet maybe you should try to work things out if possible.
