I have had 4 experiences of both of my arms feeling numb (upper body) and have had loss of control of my arms. After it subsides, I feel really crappy. I feel very tired. Has anyone ever had an experience similar to this? I have seen the Dr. and had bloodwork done with normal results. It has happened about 4 times in the last month and a half.

Go to another doctor would be my advice, seeking a second opinion is a great thing.

Sounds like you may have either a bulging disk in your upper back or neck or you could have a ruptured disk in your upper back and neck. The only way that they can fix this is through surgery. If they offer to give you a block please don't do this as it has never helped me and lots of other people i have spoken too. The only relief will come from surgery to remove the part of the disk that is pressing on your spinal cord. Ask your Doctor to do a MRI on you and that will show what area it is happening at on your spine. I have had 3 surgeries myself on my lower back and your symptoms sound just like mine except mine were in the legs. I hope that this helps you get some relief. But be warned that usually after your first back surgery you will most likely have to have more in the future but it is the only way to get some relief. I am so sorry you are going through this as i know what it is like. Good luck.
