So 50 cent is ? I know Eminem is a rapper but what about all the others,Jay Z and all of those guys ?

Hip-Hop is the culture, which includes break-dancing, graffiti, rap, and DJ's.


Rap is just that, but there are different types of rappers, you have the MC (Master of Ceremony) and you have the Lyricist. MC's are your P. Diddy's and Young Jeezy's Lyricist are your Nas, Jay-Z's...but some artist can do both like Snoop

Although both are danceable ,Hip hop came first in 1979 Rappers delight was released by Sugar Hill Gang (one of the first rapper's on the scene). I think the difference is in the tone, melody, rhythm and beat. Hip Hop you can dance and groove to, rap you just kinda bounce wit it, rock wit it, pop it, drop it and so on......

Hip hop is what you do at Easter and rap is what you do at Christmas. Hey there were others thinking that I know I was not the only one.
