Guys it's my first time to be needing your help here. please give me helpful answers... thanks in advance..

last night, i accidentally clicked onto a porno site in my email and it sent me some viruses:

1. message prompt (not sure if it's the correct term so please do correct me if i am wrong) that says: file missing (then the name of the file)

2. a command prompt

3. then the dial-up-window automatically shows up everytime i open my pc.

> now, i scanned it with panda platinum... after which, numbers 1 and 2 were gone BUT number 3 is still there. also the red X that says my PC is infected is still there. it doesn't really interfere with my PC's performance but the dial-up-window and red X mark really annoy me because i don't really want the idea of having a virus in my PC!

i really want to get rid of the red X!!!

thank u very much!!! your help will be so much appreciated for the rest of my life!!!! =P

also, msg services always pop out everytime i go OL, virus?

Scan your computer in windows safe mode (press F8 repeatedly during computer start up). Viruses and spywares are most vulnerable in safe mode.
Since it has a popup sayin ur pc is infected, it's a spyware or adware and can be removed only by antispywares programs
Scan ur computer (preferably in safe mode) using a free adware/spyware remover like Lavasoft's AdAware SE ( http://www.lavasoft.de )
and Spybot-Search and Destroy ( http://www.safer-networking.org ) Or get both softwares from http://www.download.com
I'll give 99% guarantee of it's removal.

Again i'll give u safer surfing tips
1) Of unknown sites, check their safety from McAfee Site Advisor's site - http://www.siteadvisor.com under analysis section , u can also install McAfee site advisor plugin for Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox which will show the site safety during google/yahoo searches too.
2) Use Firefox as a browser. It's safer
3) Keep 2-3 antispywares , such as spybot and adaware handy.
4) Get a better firewall such as ZoneAlarm

Well before you reformat your PC - recommend you get a hold of another free set of software.

Lavasoft Ad-Aware (www.lavasoft.com) - free download from download.com - this should take away your malware problem. However, it could be something new that they haven't added to the database yet. Recommend adding this to your computer regardless. Scan now, daily, and often after visiting questionable sites.

Grisoft AVG (free.grisoft.com) - this anti-virus is great. Doesn't act up in the presence of other AV software (that I've witnessed) like Norton and McAfee.

Recommend after visiting questionable sites - In your browser, on the menu bar select TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS, and clear your history, delete cookies, and delete your files.

Recommend also setting your browsers storage of temporary internet files to the lowest setting (TOOLS:INTERNET OPTIONS:GENERAL tab:SETTINGS), 1 MB in Internet Explorer - especially if you have high speed internet - there is no reason to cache files with the download speeds today.

There are also some other options - Yahoo! Toolbar comes with anti-spyware that works well to detect items. Keep your pop-up blocker on at all times - if you have a link that is not questionable and causes a pop-up window to appear, use CTRL and click the link to bypass the pop-up blocker.

Oh - don't ever click links in emails unless the email is from a trusted source.

It's a spyware. It's like a virus but it can't be detected by a anti virus. i suggest you reformat your pc. or buy an anti-spyware. that's the only choice you have.

Spyware are most annoying than virus. because once it affect your computer there's no more cure except for anti-spyware. but even if you get rid of them. your computer will run very slow after some times.

sorry.. that's a bad news
