If by straps you mean the ones that go around your back, you should go down on the number to a 34. D is the cup size. Good luck!

You can get a bra that has straps called "Stop the Slip". Playtex makes them. http://www.onehanesplace.com/webapp/commerce/command/ExecMacro/product/product.d2w/report?style=14286

If the straps are still falling off you need to go down a band size because the weight of your breasts is pulling on the straps, causing the band on your back to ride up. Your next size would be a 34DD. When the band size decreases the cup size increases.

Also, to make sure you're wearing the right band size you should be able to fit 1 finger under the center front part of your bra and 2 fingers under the hooks in the back. If it's more than this then you need a smaller band size.

Your best bet is to get measured at a store that will measure you like Victoria's Secret or Frederick's of Hollywood to ensure that you are getting the right size. Most women wear the wrong size bra for them. If you are talking about the straps over the shoulder and they aren't adjustable for you to tighten them, a different size will not help you with that. If you are talking about the strap around your ribs and adjusting that tighter doesn't work, go for a smaller number but you may have to go for a bigger letter at the same time so that you are not falling out of the bra in the cups (34DD). It is a good idea to try on every bra before you buy it because they vary from bra to bra. It will save you having to exchange it. Hope this helps.

The letters are your cup size. The straps should be adjustable

It seems such as you're in too massive of a band length and too small of a cup length. attempt a 34, 32, and 30 band. undergo in concepts, for each band length you bypass down, you will desire to bypass up a cup letter to maintain the same cup length. So a 36A, 34B, and 32C are all the same length. the best undertaking to do would be to get professionally geared up. do not bypass to Victoria's secret. they are crap. i've got in no way considered a VS fit in a suited setting up bra.

Adjust the straps

do mean long or wide cuz if they're wide just buy yourself another bra, if they're too long they should be adjustable, the 36d has nothing to do with strap size, it's your body measurement and cup size
