Who would you vote for?
Candidate A. Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with an astrologist. He's had 2 mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to10 martinis a day.
Candidate B.He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college and drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.
Candidate C He is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke,drinks an occasional beer and never cheated on his wife.
Which of these candidates would be our choice?

I would go with Candidate A. Just because he is associated with crooked politicians does not make him crooked. He consults an astrologist but don't we all if we read our stars in the paper everyday. The mistresses could be his work/family or any other interest. He may be a chain smoker through passive smoking. And being a leader is a stressful job so I don't blame him for having 8 to 10 martinis a day.

The wording of your question is biased and does not give enough information to make a decision. I would think C would be a good candidate but maybe the news of his mistress just hasn't hit the news. Maybe C is a sociopath.
Not a good question -- at least the others have their "dirty laundry" hanging out there.

oh yeah, I think I remember this one.
It's something like the top two are Winston Churchill and Tony Blair, or someone similar. The seemingly 'perfect' candidate was Adolf Hitler!

I don't care about his personal life. What are his policies? Is he a good, experienced leader? What are his views on important issues?
If the world was debt free, war free, and poverty free. If no one went to bed hungry, etc. etc. who cares who 's blowing the guy while he has a martini

i do no longer know who i could vote for yet i know for useful that i does no longer vote on candidate C - it is Adolf Hitler. Hihihihi.. sorry if I spoiled the jest, yet this one is a classic already!

C would never lower his integrity to enter into a career of politics.

Lets go with Adolt. On paper, he was a good leader. He just got a little carried away... well, a lot carried away. But economy-wise, he was good.
