Usually, one's nose shuts down after a few minutes and you can endure it, if you are trapped.

But I remember once or twice when that didn't happen.

Were you ever stuck somewhere and you had to just deal with a horrible stench?

Once a man visited my office cabin who hadn't taken a bath since days i guess . That plus he was sweating...!!

I can't really describe the smell, but it was kinda like the combination of sweaty socks and dead bodies.....ewww

He stayed there for half an hour waiting for someone, and i kept thinking of excuses to run out of the room for fresh air....

I worked in a factory that bottled spices. They had a room that contained vacuum equipment for clean up at the end of production.Upon entering the room I actually vomited. The smell was so pungent and all encompassing that I couldnt control myself. The smell was one you would never encounter anywhere else.It was an infusion of the companys 150 different types of spices, and it was revolting.I was offerred a full time job there. No Thank You.

Lordy, my office is down wind of the bathroom. Every now and again, someone will drop the most unholy of bombs and then spray the room feverishly with air freshener. I am forced to sit at my desk while this putrid mix of poop and spring daisies fills my nasal cavity...

I was delivering an electric motor to a place called Regal By-Products. yeah, by-products.

The cooking of rank dead animals has to be the grossest smell in the world.

Bat guano. I ride a mountain bike for exercise and riding to the downtown area we ride under some bridges where there are bats. It's putrid! One bridge is four lane so image trying to hold your breath when you are exercising. Tough to do.
