The end of the holiday season in Crete is always October 31. Smaller hotels may close one or two weeks earlier, if they have no bookings.
October in Crete is beautiful. The temperatures are around 25 - 28 C, it is not windy and most days of the month are sunny. October is great for hiking and travelling around.

particular its ok,yet bypass futher alongside the east cost to Vai thats the place they made the bounty advert for television.Its spectacular.Been to Crete better than 10 situations and woild say the west facet of the island is nicer. Have an surprising time. become there for 3 weeks this 12 months.

The summer holidays end at beginning September. Still, vacations are continuing to November 1st!

Hi, I have been to Crete once at the end of october (20-28.10), and the weather was fantastic. Not too much people, good weather, good food... :-)

Generally end of october. It is further south than the islands and mainland. However we are having pretty bad weather this year, so i would guess pretty soon for this year. My friends were there this weekend and one day was nice and the others it rained. And its early for rain.

Practically all big hotels stay open all year but if you want to speak in terms of mass tourism, then you can say end October - mid November.
