I don't agree with abortion for any reason; my logic is this:-

There is not a single disabled person that I know that would rather be dead!
(There may be a few poor souls, but I think the euthanasia debate is fairly distinct from abortion).

Just because a baby is likely to be disabled, doesn't give us the right to judge its life as worthless, pointless or in any other way not worth protecting as we would our own.

A child of this women could well have grown to be a famous composer and given pleasure, fortitude or inspiration to countless millions through their music, for example...

How many months pregnant is she??? If she is 8 months pregnant than abortion wouldn't been an option. She seriously needs to consider sterilisation so that she can cope with the family she has now rather than increase it.

She needs to be treated for the syphilis.....

Is this person a real person???

No I wouldn't because a life is a life and that person be he death or retarded could grow up to be the president of the US or a great composer. Impaired children are not a reason to take a life. Those children grow up to love and care for children just like the rest of us.

I know a woman who has 7 kids and doesn't take care of them well, she's a p.o.s. mother and lives off the system.
I think that if she takes care of her children, then no, your children are a piece of you and your man...regardless of the disabilities, they are you, they are love and they had no choice in the matter.
However, if she is like the p.o.s. person like the girl I know, then yes, she should not only have an abortion, but she should get her tubes tied, and let the children live normal, healthy lives with families who are willing to care for them like they need.

No- Only God should have the decision of who lives or dies. How would anyone know if they would be aborting the one person who would have found the cure for cancer or a Martin Luther King or Elvis???

I don't agree with having an abortion b/c there is only a 'possibility' that the child may have a problem - my sister was supposed to have downs and they recommended abortion... well, she doesn't have it and thank God my mom didn't listen!!!

I take it the other 2 don't have health problems.Abortion is not right but I think she should be sterilized after she has the next one.

think she should have an abortion simply for the babies sake and if she is not coping with her other children, then she should put them in care. its not nice being in care, tust me i should no, but i love my mum for what she done. she put us in care until she got herself sorted, and it was the best thing she could have done at the time. she should definatley not have anymore kids, even for her own sanity.

Antibiotics seems the best answer. Then some much needed birth control if at all possible...

No, I definitely wouldn't recommend abortion. Diversity is good. Disabilities teach us patience and tolerance!
