Here is an example:
If I wronged you and then said,"I'm so sorry!" and then I continued to do the offense then I wouldn't really be sorry would I?
If I promise you to spend quality time with you and or the children but use all of my free time pursuing my own interests and hanging out with buddies then telling you "I don't have time to go here or do that for you." Then my promise was worthless.
You meet an acquaintence and say "Let's do Lunch." and then never call... What does that say?
You tell a guy you had a great time on the date and then don't return any calls and avoid him. What does that say?
Actions speak louder than words.

I think you mean why "do" actions speak louder than words?
Well - if you like someone your going to do stuff for them without them asking - which would be an action.
If someone say's they are going to do something and they don't - what does that tell you about that person.
Make sense now?

Simply because actions mean a lot more than words...
actions are felt,,
words enter the left ear then goes out through the right ear...

Because some times we are afraid to speak, because we know that if we say something it may cause undue pain to the ones we love. So we keep things to ourselves, and in turn act out. We think we are fooling everyone around us, but they see by our actions that we are upset.

Words not backed by action is nothing more than HOT AIR, and we get enough of this from politicos from all levels of government.

actions are a behavior that is a fact ... words are words that may or may not be true ... you may say you want to quit smoking as you light a cigarette, but the actions say different, see?

Words you can tell anyone,,,but not mean them. Actions show about how you feel for someone. (good or bad)

because sometime when you don't take what a person say 's serious and you need to be shown by their action in order to believe them.

Not really. Some words are pretty useful like " I am a cop" or "Get away from me you pervert"
