Well they're sort of European right. You should be asking if Turkey should join (they want to) which would be an utter joke since they're 99% muslim

Why shouldn't they be allowed to join the EU? Is the EU some kind of elite club or something. We are not an island, we depend on others for our survival, who knows what this country may offer in the future that will help you and your family

Why not? How else are we (the rich countries) going to buy up all of their utilities and steal what little of the countries wealth there is from under their poor beleaguered people?
