I had this dream once that me and my family were running and all around was death and distruction, then in an instant my husband was hit with something and burned from the inside out. What could this mean?

Yes, there are different types of dreams: "I ate too much pizza" dreams, "I was angry/upset/disturbed before I went to bed" dreams, "I am processing all of the day's info" dreams. There are ESP dreams, health check dreams, stream consciousness dreams, and "what needs my attention now dreams. You seem to have had a "what needs my attention now" dream.
- First, death and destruction can symbolize Change - with a cap. C. Change often engenders mixed feelings, even when the change is known as a good thing. Many fear the effects of change. fear losing a sense of place or stability. And what we don't acknowledge consiously, our subconscious often presents to us in dream format, especially if it needs to be addrressed somehow.
- Apparently, this Change that is chasing you/all around you, you fear will affect your entire family. You see your husband hit by Change or some revelation/epiphany related to Change. Perhaps his being burned up from the inside out, or "all burnt up," indicates anger/rage. Or it could indicate a complete transformation. Only you will know what resonates as truth in your life.
- I would recommend meditating on the dream. In a meditative state, consciously stop running, turn around to see what is chasing you. When you see it, ask for a gift or the reason for the chase, then come back to conscious reality. Usually this gift is the resolution to the situation.
- If you see that no one is chasing you, then this is a clear indication that you are telling yourself that you need to address this NOW.

did you watch the news before going to sleep? this may have had all of those thoughts running through your head. the news is full of death and destruction and you were worried that something could happen to your familly at any time. this dream says that you care about your familly.

Dreams are weird, they are made by your subconscious, things you have experienced in your life & deep thoughts.
Sometimes things you eat affect your dreams, cause nightmares & disturbe your sleep.
Going to sleep angery or unsettled over an agrument from the recent past can cause nightmares.

It could "mean" something or it could be as simple as being too stressed in your life.
I tend to read a lot of suspense thrillers so my dreams are usually filled with drama and action.
I wouldn't worry about it too much...:)

You need to ground yourself before you go to sleep. Pray or tie your head before you sleep. Not all dreams have a meaning.

your husband burned from inside,Sounds to me like you devote more of yourself to family,and that your hubby needs much more attention from you.

i dont know how to interprete dreams but if you want to avoid having bad dreams. pray before yo sleep and sleep on your right side.It helps
