A "stye" is a blockage of the hair follicle whre the elelashes grow, to put it really simple its exactly like a pimple. The best way to get rid of it is to break it. Try scratching or squeezing with some tweezers but be careful not to poke yourself in the eye !

Warm compresses followed by massaging around the "ingrown follicle" DO not squeeze or try to break this can make it worse causing More of an infection. If not better in 24 hrs after several of these (every 4 hrs) treatments call a doc or eye doc for an antibiodic eye ointment

Conjunctivitis is an infection in the conjunctiva of your eye or the inside of eye lids, not the same thing.
