I have a Sntro Xing Erlx, owners manual says to use Unleaded petro only. i got the unleaded petrol filled on delivery of the car. however from 2nd refilling i have been using Indian Oil Extra mile premium petrol. Is it okay to use the IOC Extra premium petrol on Santro Xing Erlx ? would it be a problem if use premium as compared to just UNLEADED ? pls share and help me. so fat i just did two re filling

Premium and regular are both unleaded. Premium has higher octane levels than regular, which can increase performance.

Diesel is leaded and has very low octane levels compared to unleaded.

You can step up but not down.
Actually you are wasting money buying Extra (super) unleaded fuel when regular unleaded does the job.

If regular unleaded causes "pinging" of the valves then stick with
higher octane.

But its ok if you don't mind tossing out the dough if you stick with
super.
Many people do that anyway.
