Yes, exactly. I have to do it all the time. If I don't think I have the money, I just say no. They should have to do the same.
Local, state, and federal government just can't understand this concept. Spend now, make the next administration, and the next few generations pay for it later, with $Billions$ in interest.
This nation will reach the 10 trillion $ plateau before the year is out. Watch. The longer those clowns remain in power the worse it's going to become.
We are told the economy is so great! Unemployment is way down. Maybe, but at what cost? People must take lesser jobs which puts them in a lowered tax bracket. Many will take cuts that put them under the poverty line. They will fall into the dreaded category of no taxes. They will need government help to feed their loved ones. We take in less in taxes, spend more on programs.
Property values are on the way down. I don't think this has ever happened in the history of this nation. The one thing everyone has always been told, believed to be true, has always been true before Bush took over. The one thing you could always count on, even during hard times, was that property values go up not down. Always was a profitable long-term investment. It is no longer.
