Yes, there are many stupid Americans. That's why so much of the world is ahead of us in math, science, and even literacy. "No child left behind" means everyone slows down until the dumb kids catch up.

Well darlin' why didn't Democrats give me a better choice? I wasn't enamored with Bush. I just thought the alternatives inhaled more then he did.
And *LOL* I thought that was how Democrats stayed in power for so long. Telling people they were too stupid to take care of themselves. That they needed someone to take care care of them, and Democrats would take care of them. And making them believe it.
If what you say is true. Why have those 'smart' Liberal Democrats been beaten so regulary by those 'stupid' Conservative Republicans?
Democrats will get another chance to get my vote for President in two more years. It will all depend on who they run. If they run someone on the far liberal side instead of a centrist. Dammit I'll have to vote for a Republican again.
Ignorant means you don't know. Stupid means you refuse to learn. In 1994 Democrats lost BOTH Houses of Congress and still haven't realised why. Only Clinton's charisma kept them from losing the White House in 1996. The last two times Gore and Kerry the champions of the Democrats lost to someone who you class as dumber than a box of rocks and not nearly as versitile. And YOU blame it ALL on Republicans? Someone needs a reality check. HELLO!

Ok I am not enraged nor angered by this question or the answers. Bush appeals to stupid as well as intelligent, both believers in Christ as well as non-believers. Don't you think that it is the diversity of people to have the right to believe differently and support different ways of thinking? I myself do not necessarily care for Bush, but I also do not care for most of the people that tend oppose Bush in political races. I think for myself, and each of the people who tend to lead America have differences from what I think. Remember when Clinton was president many thought the Democrats were the stupid people. No one is ever happy with who is leading America.

The fact is, there are an inordinate amount of people in this country who are lowering the learning curve. I believe, however, that we have liberals to thank for that, not conservatives. Liberal programs have allowed these people to procreate. Liberal programs have dumbed down the text books in our schools. Liberal programs have prevented the best of the best from excelling, favoring the mediocre to achieve high levels of education and leadership. The liberal agenda educated and propelled the dumbest SOB into the presidency of the United States: GWB.

Maybe you should reconsider the basis of your statement...if you consider all those people that do not share your personal point of view to be 'ignorant', maybe the problem isn't them, maybe it's you...especially if they're in the majority. Given, this administration and our Congress have done some pretty bone-head things, but that really doesn't make em stand out from the crowd compared to the past. Read up on some history, there...

You know, when you call other people stupid, you should probably back it up with reasons why you are smarter. And maybe you could come up with mature ways of dealing with your insecurities, rather than simply try to make yourself feel good by bashing people you neither know nor understand.
Calling someone stupid is the lowest form of political debate.

Yes, and many people are ignorant in regard to the TRUTH, whether deliberately or not. People are like "sheeple", blindly following their leader without using what's between their ears. They are asleep and need to wake up to the facts--facts such as THESE!...

And your point is what?If stupid people support him and you don't, and he's the President, that just means one thing. He won, you lost. Hence the term "loser" applies to you and winner applies to him.

True, America is full of stupid people. Like the stupid people that can't realize that we are at war with radical Islamists that want to see us dead. I agree with you. "After all he's done (Bush)" to fight terrorism and keep our country safe, there are still stupid people out there that just don't get it.

Bush's followers tend to be irrationally scared, blinded by hatred and tend to carry little books in their hands that they quote verses from.
I'm not scared of terrorists - I'm far more likely to be snake bitten or die from a lightning strike. But I am scared for the future of this country.
