An electrician probably won't do plumbing and a plumber definitely won't do electrics.
You could find an all around "handyman" but they might not be licensed.
I did my own installation but the pipiing and electric leads were already at the shower.

A decent plumber should be able to sort this, or even a property maintenace tradesman, remember the plumbing for this isnt rocket science, you only need a cold feed pipe the unit deals with the temperature. Yes a 6-10mm cable will have to be run to your fuseboard dependant on the power of the shower but a plumber should be able to deal with this, I run a property maintenance firm myself so I know for a fact there are plumbers who can deal with electrics, after all they deal with immersions, economy 7, room thermostats etc, plus plumbers carry electrical tools, how many electricians carry flux, solder and a blow torch? hope this helps.

Ideally your better with both but I'd certainly go for an electrician as there is very little involved in the plumbing & most electricians should be able to do it.
At the worst would you rather get your feet wet or electrocuted.

If death is your ambition be an amateuer electrician

You will need both - the plumber to fit it in and a qualified electrician to check that the wiring is connected correctly.

Get a plumber to fit a power shower, much better flow rates, and cheaper, as you don't have to have special 6mm cable run from the bathroom to the main meter box probably at the front door. Think of the mess, floorboards up broken plaster, and redecoration..
You might not even have the capacity in you consumer unit to run a shower.

I would go for electrician to do the wiring, plumber to do the pipes. Sometimes either will do the whole thing but you have to make sure they're qualified and not just some odd-job I'll-do-anything-guv type.

Legally you would need a sparky to do the electrics as it is a new installation and falls under the law as such, if you could find a sparky that can plumb all the better

Have you got any plumbing there already at all?
If you're just replacing another get an electrician if you need all the pipework to it and then fit it use a plumber.

Hope it helps
