depends on the issues, how much people like you and the type of election. frankly, we have no idea who you are. it also depends on whether you are the flavor of the month. sweetie, the flavor of the month has ALOT to do with winning elections. also helps to have a good platform unless you are in high school or middle school. then it;s pretty much a semiplatform. We don't really know how to answer thi because you have given no details.

These are the qualities u should have: (with %)
1. What's your Education Background - (0% possibilities if you are from a well educated background and 100% chances, if you are an illiterate)
2. Are u a big 'Dada' in your local community?
3. U should know all kind of illegal activities rather than social service activities
4. Try to pretend ie.., u should be a good actor, otherwise u will lose deposit
5. More Knowledge about local problems, but u should not solve
6. More important u should ask, what is meant by ethics? (This will help u to behave in the assembly or in the Parliament and u will get good recognition for your future political life too)
7. U should raise voice for your personal problem, family welfare and not for the welfare of the public, once u got elected by the people (this is the main quality for contesting in elections)
8. The best thing is better be an amnesia patient - Once u win, Forget all the poll promises....
If you are having all the qualities which i have mentioned, 90% of chances are bright and 10% is based on your luck
