My sister is heading this way, so i know a bit about it. there is a forensic science course at Glamorgan uni, it's pretty competitive, but so many science courses are now. there are not too many jobs around in the field, but if you really want it and are prepared to work your botty off, there's no reason you can't get to the top in the profession. i would advise you to look up on the ucas website university courses that are relevant, then if you can contact someone who does the job, or works with them. if you impress them you may gat a part time job doing some filing or something while you do your a levels. this puts you into a great position for when yu're at uni or finish and want a job! also gves you the opportunity to change your mind!! Good luck!

i dont think there's anything wrong with having high aspirations! its great that you have an idea of what you want to do. go see your connexions/careers adviser at school who should be able to give you some info and current prospectuses which may help. they may also be able to go onto a programme called eclips career information, where you can look up specific careers to see what is involved, what the pay is like, and what you need to become one.

best of luck, dont ever let go of your dream, and dont ever allow somebody else to put you off!

best of luck :)
