Do not worry, this is qiute normal, it is just like a spot and should go down within a few days, I have had one before, and asked my mates for advice, and they told me that they get them too, so nothing to worry about. If it doesnt start to go down within a few days and you are still worried (although ive just told you not to) then go and see your GP, but, we all get them so dont worry. (Mine that I had hurt like hell!) Just incase it is something else though like a genital wart (although im sure its not) like I said, get it checked out. Good luck xx

It can be anything from an infected pore, to an ingrown hair, to something serious or even frivolous...
I dated a girl once with a "lump" that turned out to be a down feather from her down pillow that had embedded itself like a sliver...serious!!
I think every doctor understands how hard it is to be personal and intimate so fast...
but see a doctor...
take a family member or a friend so you can hold a hand...
and see a doctor.
It might be something so simply that the right cream makes it feel better by tonight.
Good luck and good health
.

It's always best to seek the advice of your family doctor. Don't be shy or embarrassed. They're there to help you. If you're really embarrassed ask to see a female doctor. It sounds like a small cyst or a spot, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Good luck

Hi - Im no doctor so please dont take this as a diagnosis! However, it sounds like what Ive had a couple of times called a Batholian(sp?) cyst, caused by an infection. My one earlier this year (have had it flare up 3 times) actually landed me in hospital where they thereatened to use a scalpel on it!! It was embarressing to get my...bits out so many times over a few days, but the relief of knowing what it was, and to get antibiotics for it (yep, was spared the knife!) was great. Go on, be brave and get it checked out. Hope this helps! Bxx

It could be as simple as an infected hair follicle. On the other hand, herpes blisters can start out this way also. If it hasn't cleared up in a few days, you should see your doctor. In the meantime, you might try using a sitz bath to soak it in warm water to help ease the discomfort.

NEVER BE TO EMBARRASSED TO GO TO THE DOCTORS ! ASK TO SEE A FEMALE ONE. Hopefully it is just a boil or nothing to serious, I had a big lump down there twice but thankfully both times ( when I got them checked ) they were just saddle sores, one from cycling and the other horse riding.

You really need to see a doctor, sounds like it could be a blocked gland or duct. He'll probably give antibiotics to clear. Don't be embarrassed just go.

It could be a cyst or it could be from an std like herpes or syphilus. You need to see a doctor embarassed or not but, doctors have seen it all and then some.

You have to get this checked. Do you have a well woman clinic anywhere near you, dont be embarrassed, a little embarrassement is better than something dreadful.
