I have tried every leaf but no luck. The plant is otherwise very healthy looking (nice and green, in a warm aquarium, well watered but not too much) I honestly dont understand why it wont eat, it has been two months since I last offered it some food.

There are tiny hair like feelers on the inside of the leaf that act as triggers when the bug crosses them, which makes the leaf close. So, try to move the bait around a bit and see what happens!

are you particular you position the fly far sufficient down? there are tiny hairs that are led to at the same time as touched and reason the seize to close. usually i have considered the for about $5-7. it somewhat is extraordinary that they bought it for lower than a dollar. i'm no longer too particular. i'd only go away it there for a short at the same time as make certain the fly isn't too vast and do not close the seize consisting of your palms, that motives the plant to lose power or something

The instructions to these plants normally tell you not to feed it yourself, but to leave it to catch its own food. Also they eat flies and insects, not leaves.
