Words can carry their own poison,
There is no need for a weapon
When words can cause if not more pain,
The truth can be venomous,
And secrets can be lethal.
What if I told you a secret that
Shocked you into silence?
What if I told you something true?
A truth that brought pain tears to fall
From your eyes?
What if I told you a secret that ceased the pounding
Of your heart and the blood in your veins to turn to ice?
What if I told you something true, that drew you to cover your ears in trepidation, of those haunting and tormenting words to ever be repeated?
What if I told you a secret that made you keel over in utter terror?
What if I told you that words can carry their own poison,
Would you believe me or would you refuse to understand?

Words kill. They can destroy or they can build. They can be completely misunderstood, or twisted into evil weapons. Good words used in the wrong text or with the wrong tone can be detrimental to society,

These lines certainly struck a chord in me, as this has happened to me, a girl who I loved told me that she was in love with someone else. It broke my heart.

words are always powerful. this is why dictators and insane rulers always burn the written word. words and written words can change worlds and human's thinking.

I like them myself. Those words have lot's of meaning and I understand them and again, I like them.
