Most people understand that to be frightful or to show fear is a wise thing to do under certain situations. This indirectly means that they have something of great value about them that they like very much to preserve and keep out of harm. People when in their masses do this marvellously well. They go mad, wild and senseless. The say mobs are mindless. This is no more truthful than when there is panic in the crowd.
Sometimes people become pretentiously frightful. They pose against frightful things exaggeratedly without realising it. By doing this they mean to say that they are not stupid enough to be harm by something dumb enough to be harmful.
Fright can also be an expression of disgust towards things absolutely uneceptable and not worthy of any consideration – the things the one better get rid of. People express panic fear towards such things. Fear is the ultimate of alienation, or rejection
Then there is real fright of an anxious mind. If a mind is prone to anxieties and worried that person is more likely to panic. We all panic at times but we control ourselves. We hide the fact that we are afraid. To be found afraid is perhaps still the strongest taboo around, especially in the world of men. Women are more likley to fright than men. This is perhaps not because of their weakness but due to the traditional social role they have had for thousands of years to this day.

WOW now that is the one Millon dollar qesution you have ask there.
There are a whole lot of reasons why people fight and none of them are any good.
Some people fight over religion because they think that the other religions are wrong. Rather just pray to there god to change their heart they attact them and try to kill them.
Husbands and wives fight because they do not know how to resolve their problems peacefully.
This has to be learned and then tought to your child so that they can resolve there disagreement peacefully.
When you allow anger rage and built up agression to go un checked sooner or later you will exploded.
Always deal with your need to be right it is all right to back down from a fight if it will keep someone from getting hurt.
Fight is in our aggressive nature but it does not have to rule us.

Many reasons, but one of the main factors in today's society is ghettoisation. If you get enough of any animal in one space then they start to fight amongst themselves. It is a natural reaction to limited living space, food and resources.
Other reasons include people just being plain stupid.

Power. The need to establish the pecking order. Look at chimps, it is in our shared genes. They rape, they are violent against each other, they gang up on weaker ones...
The Bonobos aren't. Interestingly enough, they use sex to apease their conflicts...
