If we sold all the countrys military off and kept a few nukes just incase of a war (which is very unlikely). and sold all the space exploration equipment that would raise about £95 billion and sell all the other un nessisary things. We could put this money into researching the cure for cancer or something and other things. I mean yeh space exploration is interesting but shouldnt we concentrate on living first? Does anyone think this is a good idea, even though i know it would never happen. I mean you probebly don't know but some day you'll be dying or someone from your family will be dying. Wouldn't you wish we'd found the cure? I would. If we did find the cure we would make even more money and be a wealthier country altogether.

There is way too much money in the medical business, to come up with an absolute cure for cancer. As scientists find cures for diseases, other even more frightening diseases takes the place of the last.
My dad died of cancer. The first phase cost over $300,000. The second phase, over $200,000. We were notified that if the cancer returned for the 3rd time that insurance would not pay for it. This is only one example. There are other cases every day, that are similar or worse. There are cures, they are not allowed in the USA, the FDA gets money from drug companies to keep these cures from the general public.
I'd love to see an accepted cure. As long as greed persists, so will the devastating, catastrophic diseases.

yep its called the big C and they say 1 in 3 are going to be effected by it....scarey hey i know i lost 2 family members
from it already not to mention countless friends,an i dare say it has proberly affected you in somewayz because here in Australia they are saying it on the news 1 in three & its like it.
its got no enemys.. even celebritys etc,,,sadly money isnt the only thing that will cure cancer,i will give you some personal advice.maybe the cure is out there already,,sometimes there iz more money in not having a cure,,,its like therz a lot of household appl. that can emmitt certain Radio Active Frequency like Micro waves, then you have electro magnetic forces that can effect you,also there are list of household cleaning products that also have toxins bleachs the vapours they give off are deadly.
i also mention just a few more that i know about therz also food additives presertives, then therz gmf etc
Even the humble smoke alarm has uranium in it.....................
i reckon i could go on but i could rave for about a hour.so i wont

You may not have realized this, but medicine has been greatly enhanced by the NASA space program. This, along with several other important areas of research have given us a much finer life style in the past 50 years. Sounds like an interesting theory... why don't you try to get elected to office using that theory as your platform. Just tell everyone that you believe that the government should forsake all of its purposes in order to search for the Fountain of Youth... You could all be doctors and search for cures and the rest of the world wouldn't invade and steal all of your natural resources just because you are nice people trying to do good things....

Y dont u stop going to movies,eating in restaurants,stop going to school,cut electricity and phone in ur home..so some day ur sick u can use all taht saved money to live longer......btw which country are u from...cos u say war unlikely..are u from iceland...

Nope I'd die before the cancer could get me because I am not Muslim and they would hang me for that. Because if you sell off the Military Nukes or no Nukes, we'd be Muslim in a year. Read their plans and aspirations

Governments are not interested in finding a cure for cancer or for anything else unless it lines their pockets and make them richer
