When downloading free computer games, from various sites (1 hour free trial games), it quite often reads " Virtual memory too low". What do I need to do, to retify this. It sometimes comes up with runtime error after this message. Any advise please. Thank-you in advance xx

It all depends on your OS and how much memory you have in your computer.

For the memory.

If you goto your START Button, select Control Panel the Double click on the SYSTEM icon (looks like a little computer) the first pages tells you how much memory you have.

The minimum most games req now is around

512mb (DDR) of Ram
and
256mb (DDR) of Graphics Card Ram

If yours do not match does I would enquire at your local computer shop about upgrading.

The prices for 512mb (DDR) of RAM will set you back around £35

for me its better to play online than donwloading games... there are alot of free internet gamesites for us, people to play. here are some websites that you can play online instead of waiting your downloaded game to be done:
www.funny-games.biz
www.groovyarcade.com
www.coffeebreakarcade.com
www.arcadefans.com
www.arcademate.com
www.arcadestreets.com
etc.......etc.......etc......
or try looking for game websites using yahoo and google....it will provide you sites for games and there are alot of gamesites not mentioned lately that you can find and play with.....
good luck

I think problem is that ur files got fragmented.
Try this........
defragment ur partition(drive in which the game is installed).
