how to catch entei and raikou in pokemon crystal?

i have already captured suicune and now i want entei and raikou
i don't know why they fled away when they appear. please help me.

good, you already ran into them.

they are supposed to run away the second battle starts. if you have them at 15 hp and they run away, the next time you find them, they'll still have 15 hp

you need to open your pokedex, find their listings, and WALK over to them. every time you enter a new area, look on your pokedex again, because everytime you walk somewhere, so do they.

likewise, everytime you fly somewhere, so do they, so DO NOT FLY

when you are in the same area, walk around in the grass, you'll eventually get into a fight with it. the first thing you should really try is paralyzing or sleeping them.

a ghastly with mean look, or a spinarak with web is helpful, but they have to be pretty high level to be faster than entei or raikou, so i never bothered with that

if anyone tells you to clone the masterball, they are full of it. you can not clone on crystal, you can only do that in gold and silver

ok, here is a tip to start off: if you have seen them then dont go where the map says they are because they will go somewhere else. I found Entei in the patch of grass closes to Violet city,and again on the route from Ecruteak to olivine, and i found Raikou in the grass outside mt mortar by mahogany, but there are tons of places to find them so i cant give you a definite route or area. but when you find them make sure you have a pokemon that knows hypnosis or sleep powder, to put them to sleep.

Try Using the Pokedex.
If You saw them already then open the poke dex and look for them. They tell you where they are. And in Catching them don't ATTACK THEM Catch them with a master ball imedeately. These are the most effective.
