When I worked in a pizza shop I used to allow my work clothes to soak in dish soap to break down the grease. When it was time to do laundry I would gather my clothes and let them soak in a bucket of hot saopy water, then put them in the wash machine. I would also but dish soap right onto the stains when I got home if I was aware of them.
It is a never ending task I'm afraid.
I have never tried the coke method, but anything is worth a shot when it comes to smelly resteraunt clothing.

I have worked in a mecahnics shop before and always came home covered with grease and oil. My partner was always yelling at me because she found the stains so hard to remove until she found EXIT soap. If there was a really bad stain she would pre treat it and because I used to make such a mess she would also put some of the soap in the washing machine as well. Short end of the story - EXIT soap is amazing on grease and oil and very cheap!

Greased Lightning...that stuff is incredible! I've used for everything...even stuff that's been there for a very long time and Greased Lightning got it out or removed it.
The instructions say to use is as a pre-treater and then toss it in the wash.
Give it a try, if anything that product can be used for other things around the house. Good luck!

This is going to take a lot of effort. You first need to break down the top layer. To do this carefully take a Stanley knife blade and at a 20degree angle gently scrape the surfact layer off. Take your time so as not to scratch the tiles. When you have broken down the surface you can then use very hot water and fairy liquid and a scourer to wash the remainder. When all the grease is removed buff up with a soft dry cloth.

Dawn dishsoap! It works for almost everything. Put it directly on the stains wad it up and throw it in the hamper until your ready to wash it. When its done ....no more stain! P.S. let the soap dry on there if possible it really really works

I found that putting dishsoap directly on the stains then rubbing the fabric together before washing always made the clothes come out spot free.
