Well, actually, 'smoke' does not 'burn,' so it cant be that.
Apart from following the guidelines offered by other readers here,
1) Stub out your cigarette. 2) Leave the building - after having had a shower, brushed your teeth, your hair, gathered up all your important documents, your handbag (if you are a woman), the cat and your cellphone, then taking great CARE to lock all doors and windows after you, exit QUICKLY.
After that, it's up to you what you do ...go to the pub, visit a friend or relative......

Do u have a lot of points u want to waste? Why would anyone over 2 yrs old ask a stupid question like that, unless they need the attention very badly?

That depends where you are.
Is it coming from your computer? Turn the computer off.
If you are camping, then you probably smell the campfire...
Are you cooking? You are probably burning dinner. Throw it out and order takeout...
Are you sleeping? Your house is on fire! Get out and call the fire department!
(Duh...)

try and find where the smell is coming from check the kitchen first

When you start smelling something Burning, and you see smoke...the local fire dept. will do.

Walk and see if you can detect it if not leave the building and call the fire brigade
