When is the PS3 game system coming out?
Should I get a PS2? or wait for the PS3?

The PS3 will be released in Japan on November 16th, North America on November 17th and the European release will be sometime in March 2007. The PS3 will cost $500 for the basic model which will have a 20 gig hard drive and no options. The high end model will be $600 and will have a 60 gig hard drive, it will have all the extra options and accessories built in.
In my opionion you should get the PS2 for now. That way all the bugs in the PS3 can get worked out before you buy one. You will also be able to save up some money for the PS3. And all games that you buy for the PS2 can be played on your PS3.

Yea, depends on if you've got the money to spend. Just bear in mind that there won't be any good games realeased on the PS3 for some time and everything will be very expensive. If however, you opt for the PS2 when the PS3 is out, the prices of games, controllers, memory cards, and the console itself will drop dramatically and will give you the time to wait for the PS3 to lower in price also. Even a couple months makes a big difference..

If you have enough money the obvious answer would be to get a PS3 because it's backwards compatible with PS and PS2 games. But the Nintendo Wii is better so the best thing to do would be to save your money and get the Nintendo Wii instead.

PS 3 is coming out the end of October.Supposed to be around $425. We have a PS 1 & PS2; I like the PS 2 better. It's a good system and there are alot of games.

If u got $600 go PS3 but for now, go PS2 its got more games anyway

Depends on which state your in. The P.S.3 IS goin to take awhlie but i suggest to save some money for the Ps3 Because its better than the P.S.2

it rather is because of the fact the ps2 had a extensive installation base and in 08 the xbox had a miles greater powerful installation base and had greater powerful on line. The ds and psp variations offered incredibly plenty, yet they are no longer the variations people choose to work out.

yes they are right ps3 cost about 600 and i think u must wait till ps3 comes out on nov.11 because it is good gaming than the old ps2 my choice is PS3!...................
