as for male chauvist history, um....it's cause it's written by men....as for the history of chauvanism, good luck.
Sexism is both good and bad. I mean, if you had to choose between a man and a woman to carry out out of a burning building, whom would you choose? If you choose a man, is it sexist to think that the woman would be less capable of performing the task?
Many males see feminism as an excuse to complain (or at least I do). I am a whole-hearted supporter of Feminism, but do not complain, *****, moan, etc. about needing days off because you have your daily cycle or cramps or cannot work cause you're pregnant. If you want equal treatment, you will be expected to work equally hard (if not harder) as male counterparts who, generally, do not use as many sick days as women. Many women say they wqant equality, but are not willing to make the sacrifices (this includes not having children) needed to ensure that equality.

Well, I'm a male and I don't really believe in sexism. At least, not in the way it's being practiced.
I believe that man and women are designed differently but not so one can discriminate against the other. Both genders have their strong and weak points and both should be treated with respect.
So how do I see feminism? It has its good points. Women have rights and they should be given as much chance as everybody else. However, the only thing that ticks me off is when ladies become as chauvinistic or as haughty as the very ones they protest against.
