Good Ideas by the Dykeenies, which was around a few weeks ago.
All radio stations here in the UK seem to have lost all interest in the pop charts. When Radio One plays a song, they don't tell you what it's chart position is anymore. What's more, there doesn't seem to be a station who's play list is based on what songs are in the top 40. Something may be in the top 40 and you never get to here it.
The only time the pop charts gets a mention is on a Sunday evening, when a whole programme is devoted to the new chart.

I've recently fallen in love with "I don't feel like dancing" by the Scissor Sisters.
Either that or anything from the new TOOL album would be my song of the year.

I don't think it's been a great year for music. Don't listen to the radio much but i do like that Milo song "In your Arms baby yeah..." - there's an amzing positive feel to it - so i guess i would choose that.

if you like evanescence, i implore you to listen to nightwish (www.nightwish.com) they are somewhat of an acquired taste, but i have to say they are one of the best bands out there.
my favourite release so far this year is scissor sisters, "i dont feel like dancing"
