I love Primark but would usually only buy tops and accessories. I saw some boots there I really loved but I don't want to even spend £15 if they will just fall apart.

Has anyone else tried their footwear and is the quality OK? Bearing in mind I walk a fair bit as I live in London.

I have a pair of black flat pumps that I bought from Primark a couple of years ago for £9, they are still going strong. I think the quality of products in Primark varies, if they look sturdy enough I would go for it, I'm a big fan of Primark we've had it N Ireland for decades, but must admit its gotten a bit better over the last few years.

Because their stock comes from suppliers all over the world, quality really varies too (and I don't think that just goes for Primark). I have not had much luck with their shoes, but other stuff I've bought from there has lasted for ages.

You can get cheap shoes in New Look which arent much more expensive than Primark but are a bit better quality.

I bought some trainers from their, £6 they lasted about 6 months, and the sole started to peel off, a bit of superglue and they were as good as new. I think they;re great.
Do not buy shoes in New Look through, I have bought 2 pairs and 1 pair, the heel came off after 2 weeks, took them back and got given a different pair, same style, and they broke within the month, took them back and got a full refund and vouchers for the future.
The other paor I bought, the colour ran.

I bought a pair of court shoes from there last December and they are still going strong. They were only £8!!! I wear them all the time and would love to have another pair but they don't make them anymore.

The only downside is they are a nightmare if you step in a puddle as the material isn't even slightly waterproof.

I bought a pair of shoes there are they were surprisingly good quality. They only cost about a tenner and so I wasn't worried if they fell apart because they didn't cost a lot in the first place. As it happened, they've lasted for absolutely ages.
