I love raw foods. But depending on the brand of spinach would be there I'd say, bring some carrots.

No, in light of the e-coli breakout, I would stay as far away from spinach as possible. It makes no sense to jeopardize your health even if you are in a state where no cases have been documented.
Consider suggesting another type of vegetable for the feast tonight.
