ok, Hiv cannot be contracted through saliva, The reason it can be detected through saliva test is because Hiv test do not look for the HIv virus. the test actualy look for the antibodies that you immune system produces and in this way determines if you have HIv or not. plz dont listen to these pll who say any bodily fluid can transmit Hiv, the ones that can are as follows
>breast milk
>blood
>sperm
>vaginal secrections
>spinal fluid

The answer is yes. However, just FYI, HIV is more easily contracted by homosexual men, then by heterosexuals, then by lesbians. The easiest way for it to be contracted is by sex or sharing needles. Still, you would be playing Russian Roulette with your life or the life of another person.

Yes most bodily fluids (if not all) can, so theres always a risk, but with saliva (and possibly some others) it takes a large amount...

Depends......Saliva has the HiV virus, but in very low concentration.....during oral sex or if you have cuts or ulcers in the mouth....
