If you want a white xmas I hire snow! no, I really do, I have samples! whats that? yes of course ive taken my medication! If you want snow I can hire it to you as well as a machine to blow it about a bit lol.
But to answer your question properly I think your right, tis just a phase. Global warming aint helping mind and will probably make it laster than it should but there is strong evidance that the earth does this from time to time. Hot then cold, hot then cold - like the meals in my local cafe!

No Its very uncommon,January commonly ,Snow is uncommon right here besides ,commonly Frost and Ice like at present , yet I have conventional winters without even a sprinkle ,inspite of the reality that Northern Scotland they'd have a sprinkle at Christmas

In North Yorkshire it has snowed for the last two christmas's. And it seems to always snow on new years eve. Granted, it doesn't snow as much, and can't remember the last time it settled for a long time. Seems to melt within a few hours these days.

Yes I'm sure there will be, but they have always been extremely rare,at the best of times. Messing around with the calendar at the end of the eighteenth century didn't help at all as Christmas came eleven days earlier, as a result.

Hey, why the heaven's not?? It does depend on Global Warming but not only on that. Ask the one above if he will grant you that wish before you die. I hope we get back to normality sooner rather than later (I mean weather wise)

There is always snow somewhere in the UK on Christmas day. I went to Dartmoor on Christmas day a couple of years ago and there was snow there.
