YES OFCOURSE THERE IS!!!!!

there is the UPAC Technic and this one is the most common
for example Pentan
Penta ( = 5 in latin) wich means it has 5 Carbons and the rest is hydrogen
H H H H H

H-C-C-C-C-C-H

H H H H H

any way , all you need to do is to read the book "Organic chemistry" and you will study from that the technic and you will be able to know amolecule and how its looks like without ever see it. just by the name of it .

There is a technique. All compounds are named using the IUPAC system. It can be tricky to remember the system, but it means you can name any compound.

The details of "Nomenclature" {how to name a compound} should be in whatever textbook you are using. Check the index for "IUPAC" or "Nomenclature".
