You need to send a quote to buyer and he will mail you Purchase Order and LC will be opened.
But what is important as a new exporter to know lot of procedures like obtaining IEC Code and getting Drawback/DEPB benefits for which you can refer to www.allindiantaxes.com

Go to a good library or buy a book on convyeancing and drafting. You will find many book in a law book house.
