No. If you have had the dream a few times what it means is that on some level you are afraid of losing the person. It doesn't mean they are going to die.
Even if you believe in dream interpretation, the traditional meaning of dreaming someone was going to die or had died was a sign of great good fortune for that person.

There's an old saying "dream of a death, sign of a birth" so dreaming about someone dying isn't necessarily an indication they're going to die. You're obviously very concerned as a result of the dream, but try not to be too alarmed. It might just be that because you're very close to this person you're scared of losing them

To dream of death is the foretelling of a state of rebirth, transformation, of enormous change entering your life. It indicates release from deep-seated worries or other major concerns.
Such a dream also reveals you currently are not too happy with life in general and feel under great pressure and seek a new way forward.

It usually means the news of a birth or pregnancy. However, I'm going to get a large sum of money tied up in a will in just over five years, but if they die in the mean time I will get it then so I often dream of him dying so there is no real significance in mine.

I had a similar dream a couple of weeks ago and the following day a hearse carrying a young child drove past me. That was very upsetting, but it didn't come true.
You'll probably feel on edge for a couple of days, but you'll be ok by next week.

I had a premonition of loosing my mother two weeks before she died and I wish that I told her about the dream, as it may have made things easier to deal with...but how do you really know if a dream becomes true or not!?
There is no way of knowing...but take my advice, tell them about the dream and spend as much time with them!

Well if it was a night dream, it won't come true...unless u keep thinking about it and daydreaming all the time during the day and when u're conscious...
Engage urself in some activity to forget about that...otherwise be sure to see a good psychologist...(I don't mean u're a psycho :D)

Last night I dreamt that I found 5 billion pounds in £50 notes in my knicker drawer (really). I very much doubt it's going to come true, and neither will yours.

A dream of a death usually means the end of something and the start of something new like a project not actual death.
