You don't say where on your leg you hit it, but if you hit it over a bone, the lump may be caused by a piece of bone that's been chipped off. It may only be a tiny bit of bone, but tissue will grow round it, as well as slight swelling as the main bone heals itself and this will make it appear larger than it actually is. (An analogy would be to put a ping pong ball under a rug, the bump in the rug will be bigger than the ball alone).

It may, as some people have mentioned, be a blood clot, caused by bleeding into the area when the injury was caused. However, I would have expected any blood clots to have broken down after three weeks.

Either way, if you are concerned about it, it may be worth checking with your GP.

I From your description , i would say it is probably a heamatoma

When you hit your leg some Small blood vessels could have been ruptured ; releasing blood into the tissues, were it clots together into a clump .

( the lump you describe, is called a heamatoma ),

It will disperse over time, it can take several weeks and should not be of any trouble to you, while it is healing

If you are in a lot of pain ,or the bump seems to be growing , instead of dispersing

See your doctor ,

he will advise you, on any treatment , that may be needed.

all the best

It's probably just a bruise. Perhaps it's a bug bite. Maybe it's a sebaceous cyst. Could be the result of chafing on the skin. The possibilities are endless. Get it checked out if your worried.

its normal. when your body recieves an injury the brain reacts by sending extra fluid to the site. this is the swelling, the bruising is blood, as the small capillaries have been burst by the force of you hitting it.
should fade and return to normal within 3-4 days.however if you still have a lump and if it is painfull then get it checked out.

Are you just sick of the regular diet programs were right after the diet finish the additional lbs are just coming and coming following finish the diet regime? Are you experience the reality that once your body gets used to a diet regime then this diet plan gets less powerful in excess of time simply because your body adjusts to compensate?

This happens a lot, the best thing to do is massage it, if it doesn't go within a week, go to your gp, but the chances are that by the time you get a hospital appoiment it'd gone!
