Well I live in the US and have been to England and Germany and would pick England in a second. German people tend to be rude to others. Even when you speak German with an American accent they pretend they dont know what you are saying even when it is totally clear. I choose England!

Germany; not a very open minded nation. if u'll live there remember to keep ur opinions to urself.
England; live there only as a last resort, like if all other nations on earth were nuked...then pray to God for a way out.

This depends upon your cultural experience. I am from UK originally and have lived and worked in Germany. I like Germany personally, whereas having lived away from UK for so long I think if I had the choice I would definetly choose UK!

If you are in any way "different" from the Germans, better not live in Germany. They like conformists. What kind of haircut do you have?

Germans can be a bit more anal about little things.....England is very diverse, and there's less unemployment in the UK too.
