I personally think your Mum is wrong, I believe squid or any octopus realted cuisine is the food of the devil, not jam.

You mum has got it a bit wrong. Jam's fine. Marmalade is the true hellfood. Especially the type with orange skin in. That is the true unholy ambrosia.
