I recently have been having a kind of dull ache in my heart for the past couple of weeks. These are the only symptoms. I’m not in any pain so I know its not angina. I have recently had a sinus infection, if this is any help. I’m not overly stressed atm either.

I am not overweight although i do not do a massive amount of exercise. Probably 30 mins walk a day. I do not drink or eat an excessive amount of crap food.

Am I about to keel over and die???

Useful answers pls. Thanks.

How do you know this is a pain in your heart??? Dull pains around that area could be due to acid indigestion, muscular pains, chest infections etc. etc. Best to go to your GP and get yourself checked out. I don't think you've got anything wrong with your heart.

You sound like your over doing it.
If you worry about something to much, you can over stress your body to the point it becomes ill...and you know that.
Take it easy and chill for awhile. GO partry and drink a Beer if you drink and live happy today. cheer up. you'll feel better.
The only other case is medical and that is something that can be serious and not so tantalizing.
I would be your own medic and try different angles to see which works better for you.

there, two ways of looking at this. one is the correct way ,one is perhaps an honest endeavour.

giving someone medical advice is not in my remit, however i would
strongly recommend you either contact nhs direct or make an appointment to see your GP.
you do not know what your condition is until you have it checked out, indigestion, acid wind, pulled muscle, referred pain. these symptoms can be caused by any number of things within your body ,from your bile ducts to your spleen . get it sorted, regards FL

You should feel reassured by your lack of any other symptoms. If you start feeling breathless, dizzy etc then get help straightaway.

What you describe could be down to almost anything - most likely muscle strain.

But I think you should see your GP - better to be safe than sorry.

i don't know about dying my sister had pain in her chest thinking it was her heart.
the doctor told her theres a band of mussel that runs across the chest and it was more likely she had costocondritos for which he gave her painkillers.
anyway don't take my word for it i don't know you so go to your doctors if only to put your mind at rest

No I think that perhaps you may have pulled a muscle in your chest area.
