Download Riva flv encoder to encode them form .flv (the format the downloaded form youtube) to .MPEG so that the media player/windows movie maker can read them

look wht you have downloaded from www.youtube.com
must be in format
avi or mpg or 3gpp
which is not supported by Window media player/or default window movie maker
better you use
converters or just download klite codec pack on www.download.com for free
