I think this stuff is beyond science ??

I'm not familiar with the term "Mondo Magic," but as to Black Magic, I think the appropriate scientist to analyze that would be a psychiatrist. Intentionally turning to the dark side seems to me to qualify as psychopathic.

Much of magic can be explained, but not necessarily in ways that would satisfy you. For example, it is well known that scent is a more powerful trigger of old memories than any other sense. So burning incense is a way to elicit certain memories. Lighting a candle is used by many cultures as a "magic" of one kind and another; so it is with Wicca. Statues and rituals and chants and all of that are known by many groups for their mind-altering properties.

Most of magic is in the mind. Of course, most of life is in the mind, so that should not surprise anyone.

Most, but not all.

Science works on evidence. There is no evidence that magic exists.
